Having a thorough understanding of plagiarism, we are well aware of the reality that there will always be individuals who choose to infringe on intellectual property, often aided by unethical patent attorneys who are not honest with their clients. They have learned from software industry programmers that it is quicker and easier to steal and plagiarize products by searching through USPTO and CPO patent publications. Some individuals have even resorted to adding the true inventor’s name to their own publications in an attempt to appear legitimate. This practice of plagiarism persists and takes advantage of gaps in knowledge dissemination, which is truly disheartening.
In the relatively less technologically advanced yet fertile field of the truck/trailer industry, valuable discoveries are waiting for legitimate licensing, but they are repeatedly intercepted by organizations with questionable moral principles. This constant act of petty larceny only serves to impede industry progress due to the lack of integrity. These charlatans understand that progress comes at a cost, but they refuse to pay it, deceiving their unsuspecting customers into unwittingly participating in their dishonest practices.
